Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE 11 JUNE 2026
1. Who we are
This website, rtmentoring.com, and the mentoring services offered through it are operated by RT Advisory Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong with its registered office at Unit 2A, 17/F, Glenealy Tower, 1 Glenealy, Central, Hong Kong SAR ("we", "us", "our"). Raphael Tressieres is the mentor and primary contact. For any privacy matter, email raphael@tressieres.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry and guide-request data you submit through the forms on this website (name, email, school or role, and your message), delivered to our mailbox by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, and contact data you send us by email.
- Booking data if you schedule a session through a scheduling link: name, email, time zone and the answers you provide.
- Mentoring data created during an engagement: CVs, application materials, session notes, recordings (made only with your consent) and feedback scorecards.
- Payment data: payments are processed by our payment provider (such as Stripe). We never see or store your full card details; we receive confirmation of payment, your name and email.
Beyond the enquiry and guide forms, this website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. We do not knowingly provide services to anyone under 16; if you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before booking.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To respond to enquiries and provide mentoring services (performance of a contract, or steps prior to a contract).
- To invoice, keep accounting records and meet legal obligations (legal obligation).
- To keep limited records of past engagements and improve our materials (legitimate interests).
- To use anonymised testimonials or results in marketing, only with your explicit written consent (consent, withdrawable at any time).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the practice: FormSubmit (delivery of website form submissions), Microsoft 365 (email and documents), our scheduling tool (such as Calendly), our payment processor (such as Stripe), video conferencing (such as Zoom or Google Meet) and our website host (Hostinger). Each processes data under its own safeguards and our instructions.
5. International transfers
We operate internationally (including Hong Kong and the European Union) and our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by the provider.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 12 months. Mentoring materials and session records: up to 24 months after the engagement ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Invoicing and accounting records: as required by law (typically 7 years).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to raphael@tressieres.com and we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies and third-party requests
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a standard technical request (including your IP address) to Google when the page loads. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting, cookieless tool or ask for your consent first, and we will update this policy.
9. Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-factor authentication on our accounts and access limited to Raphael Tressieres.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
